The current holders of all heavyweight titles, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Briton Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs), still cannot agree on the terms of the face-to-face fight. But at stake is the title of the first absolute division champion in the era of four belts.
According to the cult American heavyweight Mike Tyson, if the fight does take place, Fury will win it. Unlike most colleagues on the microphone, “Iron Mike” does not believe that the colossal advantage of the favorite in anthropometry will be the decisive factor.
“I never write off a fighter for the reason that he is supposedly too small,” claims Tyson. “I just think that Fury will not repeat the mistakes of Anthony Joshua. He will box differently. I think he will put tremendous pressure on Usyk from the starting gong. Fury constantly proves that there is no one stronger than him. I think he will stay at the top for as long as he wants – until he has a successor.
The other day, the veteran named the best heavyweight in the world, and then surprised with an opinion about the Paul-Fury fight. Tyson told how Joshua to return to his former greatness.
