Mike Tyson spoke about his fears: “You know what scared the shit out of me?”

The legendary Mike Tyson burst into the heavyweight elite and set a number of records: he became the youngest world champion at the age of 20, and after 2 years he won all the division titles.

“Iron Mike” instilled fear in rivals with his animal fury. But at the same time, as it turned out much later, he himself experienced a feeling of fear. But not in the ring.

Tyson shared his memories: “You know what scared the shit out of me? No, not the ring, not the fights. My biggest fear was that no one would ever love me. That no one will ever accept me for who I am. It’s no secret that I come from a world where man to man wolf. But I was lucky to have a mentor, Cus D’Amato, in my life. It was he who revealed to me simple laws, such as “treat people the way you want them to treat you.” But my main goal has always been one thing – to become the best of the best.

More from Tyson’s series of revelations: “Sleep with a prison counselor to get my time off”, “The time I spent in prison is the best 3 years of my life” and “My expiration date is coming to an end.”
