In 1992, the ex-champion was accused of rape and sentenced to 6 years in prison. Tyson spent less than 3 years behind bars, was released in 1995.

According to him, then he was ready to do anything, if only he could get his term off. I even had to sleep with a prison counselor.
From the story of a legend: “Only the first six months were insanely difficult. I was constantly brawling, running up, writing complaints. But then I realized what and how it works here. What did I do next? Oh, then I had a meeting with a prison legal consultant. In general, we agreed to get laid. Since then I have had no more problems. I became a model prisoner. Just a star.”

Tyson claims that he could have been released even earlier if not for those first six months: “They told me:“ Mike, you could go free. But remember how you got on our nerves here? one year old. Yes, you failed the test.” I was furious, but I realized that nothing could be fixed like that. That’s when I arranged this meeting with the consultant. According to the boxer, everything could have ended differently: “They even talked about 69 years in prison, but settled on 63. Then they decided to knock me off a ten, and then they decided that 10 years out of freedom would be enough for me. We agreed that officially my sentence would be 7 years, but formally I would serve 3 years. And I agreed.”

“What was my time like? For ordinary life. I had a girlfriend, she often came to me and even got pregnant from me. It was believed that I, Mike Tyson, was a tough guy who everyone should give what I needed. But in fact, I was just that pig, ”Iron Mike completed the story.
