The British fighter appeared at the PFL Europe 4 tournament in Dublin this past weekend, and had a staredown battle with former Glory champion Frenchman Cedric Doumbé, who stepped into the cage and challenged him.
“MVP!!! Wherever you are, I’m here waiting for you!”, Dumbe declared.
“We’ll see what happens in the future,” Page said after a face-to-face confrontation with a potential rival.
Cedric Dumbe, 31, made a successful PFL debut in September, knocking out Jordan Zebo in 9 seconds.
Michael Page, 36, had his last fight under his current Bellator contract in March of this year, finishing Japanese Goichi Yamauchi by TKO in 26 seconds. In doing so, the Briton closed out his loss to Logan Storley, to whom he lost by split decision in a fight for the Bellator interim championship belt.
Two weeks earlier, the schedule of upcoming UFC tournaments, hanging on the wall in the office of Dana White, according to which Michael Page is scheduled to fight Kevin Holland on January 20 at UFC 297 in Toronto.
