“Yeah, I think I’ll be the last person he fights,” the American told ESPN. “He’s been losing fights, but we haven’t seen him dominated yet. He got beaten by Puryear and then he got injured. Obviously the first time he lost to Puryear, but I’m going to dominate him in such a way that even if he tries to come back, the fans will lose all interest in him.”
“There’s definitely a revenge aspect to it because I’m going to make him pay for this year of waiting. Some things were out of his control, but a lot of it was self-created. When I signed up for The Ultimate Fighter, I knew the guy had a serious injury and that the fight might be delayed, but I didn’t think that much. So, I just want to blow this dude away – he’s going to pay for everything.”
On New Year’s Eve, Conor McGregor publicly announced that his fight with Michael Chandler will take place on June 29 in Las Vegas and will take place at middleweight, however, UFC officials have yet to officially confirm this information.
