The UFC star intends to become the owner of the football club
Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor has announced that he wants to buy a controlling stake in Celtic.
“Honestly, the conversation turned to Celtic – to buy shares from Dermot Desmond. I’m definitely interested in owning a sports team at some point! Both Celtic and Manchester United are teams I like,” McGregor tweeted.
McGregor has previously said he intends to buy Manchester United.
