McGregor named the winner of the Makhachev and Porye fight

Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor shared his opinion on the upcoming lightweight title fight between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Puryear, which headlines UFC 302 in Newark on June first.

According to the Irishman, the American fighter, with whom he has shared the octagon three times, will be able to win the current UFC championship belt at the third attempt.

“I think Dustin will knock him out,” McGregor said in response to fan questions during a live social media broadcast. “Usually at the beginning of the fight Makhachev is clumsy moving around and getting hit. Lefty knocked him out with a right side kick to the face, and that’s one of Dustin’s best punches”

Earlier, Islam Makhachev said that after the fight with Dustin Puryear is ready to meet Conor McGregor in August or September, if the latter manages to defeat Michael Chandler.

Recall that the welterweight fight between McGregor and Chandler will be the main event of the UFC 303 tournament, which will be held on June 29 in Las Vegas.
