McGregor says he’ll fight whoever wins the UFC lightweight title next
Former UFC champion in two weight categories Irishman Conor McGregor spoke about the timing of his return to the octagon.
“Hi guys! McGregor wrote on Twitter. “I will fight the next UFC lightweight champion. Deal with it. Take off your rose-colored glasses and mark the trilogy as unfinished. This will also need to be dealt with. All the others are after. Deal with it,” McGregor tweeted.
Recall that the last time McGregor entered the octagon was in July 2021 at UFC 264 in Las Vegas, losing to American Dustin Poirier by technical knockout. At the end of the first round, he suffered a broken left leg. The 33-year-old Irishman has 22 wins and 6 losses in MMA.
