Former UFC title contender Chael Sonnen believes MMA star Conor McGregor “beat up” former world boxing leader Floyd Mayweather when they met in a boxing match in 2017. Then, we recall, the American withstood the initial onslaught of the Irish debutant of the ring and eventually scored him in the 10th round.
Discussing the upcoming fight between Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev, Sonnen compared it to this fight.
“Diaz is considered an underdog with odds of 8-1. Let me remind you that 11-1 is what Conor came out with for the Mayweather fight. McGregor came out and beat the dude for half an hour, ”-
declared veteran.
Sonnen defends Jake Paul: ‘Boxers should learn from him’
According to Chale, Floyd lost four out of nine full rounds, and therefore allegedly “kicked his ass, despite what the Nevada State Athletic Commission scammers fielded that evening.”
Mayweather and McGregor will have a rematch before the end of the year, they write this media.
Early in the summer, Sonnen criticized the fighters for challenging McGregor; says, – yeah, they found the eggs and ran to scribble. Even earlier, he scolded Fury and Ngannou.
