Mayweather-McGregor rematch ‘very close’, Davis-Garcia opening act – insider

According to a tabloid insider
The Sunformer world boxing leader Floyd Mayweather and MMA star Conor McGregor are “very close” to a deal for a fabulously lucrative rematch, and the American is “ready to put his unbeatable record on the line.”

The source claims that almost all the conditions have been agreed, the fight will take place in the weight category up to 70.3 kg, but there are still disputes over the duration of the fight – the MMA player wants 10 rounds. The Irishman gained some weight after breaking his leg and now, according to rumors, he weighs like a cruiser.

An insider close to Floyd’s camp said: “The fight is not going to be showy. This is the last time Floyd will be in the ring, so don’t miss it.”

“Floyd sees this as the end of the Mayweather era and the beginning of the Gervonta Davis era,” the source said in a tone suspiciously similar to Mayweather Promotions president Leonard Ellerbee. “He thinks it’s going to be the biggest night of boxing and says people better be prepared because it’s going to be something exciting.”

Paul confident he will fight McGregor

All this happened after the 45-year-old Mayweather allegedly made an offer to Conor for $ 158 million for a rematch.

Rumor has it that Floyd is looking to fight next March in the Middle East, with a potential megafight between Davis and Ryan Garcia on the undercard.

Mayweather and McGregor fought in August 2017: Floyd stopped Conor in the 10th round. We wrote about it in detail.
