Master class from Wilder: video of an open workout of a knockout

Former world champion American heavyweight puncher Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) on Saturday at the arena Barclays Center (Brooklyn, New York, USA) will fight in the WBC eliminator with Robert Helenius (31-3, 20 KOs) from Finland.

In the run-up to the fight, Wilder held an open training session for members of the media. We must still pay tribute to the “Bronze Bomber”. His open workouts are always interesting – he gives all his best, does not indulge, does not play in public.

Check it out for yourself:

The veteran reminded that “he will spend another 3 years in the ring. And they fly by fast. During this time, I want to devote myself completely to the fans. I want to become a real people’s champion. Do you know what kind of legacy I want? I want people to say this about me: “He was a great man. He was also a motivator. He was someone who always kept his word. His motto is “With a shield or on a shield.” He was a legend.”

It turns out that Tyson begged Wilder to return to boxing after two defeats in a row. And Deontay, on the eve of the eliminator, spoke about the difference between the fights with Fury and Helenius. He pays tribute to the underdog: “Helenius has the heart of a warrior, no underestimation.”
