“The Bald Predator” announced the upcoming bout with the Brit by addressing his opponent on social media.
“Welcome, Darren Till, but be in your best shape because a tough fight awaits you,” the Russian wrote. “I will be invincible.”
Ismailov and Till will reportedly fight under boxing rules before the end of the year, with REN TV’s Fight Club likely to be the organizer of the match.
Magomed Ismailov, 37, made a successful professional boxing debut in March of this year, winning by majority decision over Ivan Shtyrkov at the RCC Boxing tournament in Yekaterinburg, Russia. “Bald Predator” had his last fight in mixed martial arts in December last year at the RCC 13 tournament in Yekaterinburg, defeating Alexander Shlemenko by unanimous decision.
Darren Till, 30, was released from his UFC contract in March, leaving the organization on a three-fight losing streak against Robert Whittaker, Derek Brunson and Dricus Du Plessis, the latter two losing early by submissions.
