Lomachenko has a new potential rival – “Businessman” from the USA

The 23-year-old lightweight prospect (up to 61.2 kg), Olympic 2020 silver medalist in the US team Kishon Davis (5-0, 4 KOs), nicknamed “Businessman”, said that he wants to fight the Ukrainian ex-champion in three categories Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs), who also competes in the lightweight division and confirmed the day before that he wants to become the absolute champion before hanging up his gloves.

Kishon hopes that he will have time to gain momentum while Vasily continues to perform.

“Oh yeah! – Davis answered without hesitation when asked if he would like to enter the same ring with Lomachenko. “I already said that I want to fight Lomachenko before he retires. When I signed (with Top Rank) I told Bob Arum not to let Lomachenko go until he fought me. Yes, I want to fight Lomachenko.”

Note that if in 2021 Davis had four fights, then in 2022 he had only one so far.

The return of Lomachenko is scheduled for October 29 in New York – he will meet with the unbeaten American Jemaine Ortiz. He is already making big plans after an imaginary victory over Vasily.
