Yesterday in Los Angeles International Airport (USA) met one of the best acting boxers in the world – the conqueror of three divisions of the Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs).
The fighter arrived in the United States in order to resume a career that had stagnated due to the February full-fledged military invasion of the fascist Russian Federation into the territory of independent Ukraine – Lomachenko was seen in the defense forces, and later (according to rumors) Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Lomachenko still refuses to call a spade a spade. The fighter said that “every day he prays for Ukraine and its people. Stop the war! I returned to Ukraine when everything had just begun – it was the second day of the war. Life has changed, what you see completely changes your worldview. Now everything is different. Nobody knows what happened that day. Everything is very bad. Not only for Ukraine, but for the whole world.”
The ex-champion explained his return to boxing very simply: “I prepared for this moment. I need this challenge. I need a fight for the title of absolute world champion.”

Earlier, promoter Alexander Krasyuk reasonably noted: It is not clear why Lomachenko does not express his position. And the fighter’s promoter, Bob Arum, announced his immediate plans – a fight against Stevenson next year.
