“Both are good fighters, but given their youth, and experience in Bellator, I will give preference to Anatoly – 60 to 40 in his favor,” Kopylov said in an interview with the channel “Ushataika”. “He’s younger, had some serious fights, had a good fight with the Bellator champion, although he lost. He had more serious competition in his last few fights.”
The bout between the Russian middleweights will be a rematch – their first fight took place almost eleven years ago under the M-1 Global banner and ended with Tokov winning by kimura in the first round.
Roman Kopylov, 32, is riding a streak of four wins by knockout in the UFC, and the Russian will have his next fight on February 17 at UFC 298 in Anaheim against American Anthony Hernandez.
