Knockout battle. Wilder wants Ngannou, he is in favor

American heavyweight puncher Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) is ready to enter the ring under boxing rules with UBF champion Francis Ngannou (17-3, 12 KOs in MMA) from Cameroon/France. He stated this
insider.

At the weekend, Wilder will return against Robert Helenius (31-3, 19 KOs). After that, if all goes well for the American, he has potential fights against fellow Premier Boxing Champions Andy Ruiz or unified champion Oleksandr Usyk.

But also, Wilder hinted, his future opponent could be the UFC champion in the most powerful category.

He said he “absolutely” would have fought Ngannou.

Fury Predicts Wilder vs Helenius Fight

“I think it would be an intriguing fight and it would be a fight that would generate a lot of interest,” he dreams. Deontay says he even discussed it as an option with PBC boss Al Haymon.

“Al agreed,” said the puncher. “There is an old saying: “If it makes dollars, it makes sense.” And he agreed.”

Back in 2019, Ngannou himself hinted that he would like to fight Wilder in the ring.
