Khamzat Chimaev replied to Kamar Usman

Popular Chechen fighter Khamzat Chimayev reacted sharply to the words of his former rival Kamaru Usman, who, recalling a fight five months ago, said he did not see anything special or dangerous in the potential star.

“There was nothing special in the fight with Hamzat – there was nothing that I didn’t see,” the Nigerian said in an interview with Henry Sehudo. “If I had pushed a little bit harder, doubted myself less, it would have turned out completely differently.”

“When he was on top, his punches didn’t hurt me much, and when we got up in the stand-up and I threw him the first tight punch, I realized I could do it, but it was too late. After the fight I told myself that I should never doubt my strength again”

It didn’t take long for Borz to respond.

“Don’t talk too much, musman – you lost,” Borz wrote on social media, addressing his former rival. “These people are proud of their defeats. What the hell?”

Recall that last October, Kamaru Usman took a fight with Khamzat Chimaev on short notice, losing to the Chechen by a majority of judges’ votes in the middleweight category at the end of three rounds.
