Khamzat Chimaev denied the words of the President of the UFC

The third number of the UFC welterweight division, Khamzat Chimaev, commented on the words of the President of the UFC, Dana White, who said that the Chechen fighter’s long downtime is due to his personal problems, and not to the fact that the organization does not give him opponents.

Borz made it clear that the statement of the head of the strongest league in the world is not true.

“I have no problem with fights – if they gave me a fight, I would have fought a long time ago,” Chimaev wrote on the social network. “I have done so many training camps and not a single fight. The problem is definitely not me. I trained in Dubai, then in Thailand – why I train so much if there is no fight, I don’t understand. ”

“I can fight anyone, I don’t care who – Belal Muhammad, Kamaru Usman, Israel Adesanya, Leon Edwards, Colby Covington, Robert Whittaker,” he added.

The last time Khamzat Chimaev, undefeated, entered the octagon in September last year, already in the first round finishing with a strangulation of Kevin Holland and chalking up his sixth victory under the UFC banner.

According to rumors, the fighter representing Sweden plans to fight his next fight in the middleweight division against Paulo Costa, who was not mentioned in the list of possible opponents. The Brazilian claims that his fight with Borz is in development and should take place on October 21 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.
