American fighter Kevin Lee has been fired from the UFC after nearly eight years with the promotion, according to MMA Fighting.
Lee, 29, who in 2017 was contender for the interim UFC lightweight title, has lost five of his last seven fights in the league. In total, he spent 18 fights in the UFC (11 wins, 7 losses).
Lee was previously banned from training for six months after testing positive for amphetamines after losing to Daniel Rodriguez in August of this year. Lee later revealed that he uses Adderall to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
