Informed sources close to the situation have reported the bout has been arranged.
Kelvin Gastelum, 31, last fought at welterweight in July 2016, winning a unanimous decision over Johny Hendricks. In April this year, the American put his career back on track after two losses, winning a unanimous decision over Chris Curtis.
Gastelum was scheduled to fight Shavkat Rakhmonov a week ago, but withdrew from the fight a month and a half before UFC Fight Night 227 after suffering a severe dissection and a broken nose in training.
The 30-year-old Sean Brady, also representing the United States, suffered the first loss of his career last October, losing by TKO to Belal Muhhamad, snapping an impressive streak of fifteen wins, five of which came in the UFC. Brady is currently ranked ninth in the UFC welterweight division rankings.
