On the night of April 30 to May 1, a boxing evening took place in New York (USA), the main event of which was the fight for the title of absolute lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) between Irish Katie Taylor (21-0, 6 KOs) and Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano (42-2-1, 30 KOs).
Following the results of the 10-round confrontation, the judges by a separate decision determined Taylor as the winner, who defended her title.
