Kamaru Usman gave a prediction for the fight with Khamzat Chimaev

If his fight against Khamzat Chimaev goes ahead, former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has no intention of taking the fight to a decision.

“I will stop him in the fourth round. See for yourself,” the Nigerian wrote on the social network.

The idea of this fight at the beginning of this month was submitted by Kamaru Usman himself, however, the president of the UFC, Dana White, reacted without enthusiasm to this proposal, saying that this fight could only take place in the middleweight category.

Shortly before this, Khamzat Chimaev had to refute the words of the head of the league that his long downtime was due to personal problems preventing him from returning to the octagon. Borz said they were ready to fight top opponents in either of the two divisions.

Recall that Kamaru Usman is on a series of two defeats that he suffered in title fights with Leon Edwards, and Khamzat Chimaev won his sixth victory in a row in the UFC in September last year, having dealt with Kevin Holland in the first round.
