Joyce’s Options for Fall – You’ll Love All Three

British heavyweight contender Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs) in early July delayed German gatekeeper Christian Hammer in 4 rounds. After the fight, British promoter Frank Warren (queensberry promotions) stated that Joyce would return to the ring on September 24. A little later, the manager of the big man Adam Moralli even announced the names of possible opponents, amusing the fans.

“According to the last battle. It was a classic performance of Joyce’s “Truck” –
Moralli argues. Yes, he misses a little more than he should. But he can afford it at the expense of the holder and the motor. If everything depended only on me, I would have made him a fight with Dillian Whyte or Joseph Parker. But the reality is that the chances of these fights are minimal. And if so, then we are interested in fights with such fighters as Michael Hunter, Robert Helenius and Tony Yoka. Also, I would not rule out a fight with Frank Sanchez, as he is ranked 3rd in the WBO rankings.

Moralli commented on fans’ doubts about Joyce: “You know, I’ve been hearing about it since my early days as a pro. Every now and then people talk about what will happen to Joe when he finally faces a real puncher. But wait a minute… Daniel Dubois was there. And everything ended with exactly the same result. Yes, he misses. Yes, that’s the style. Yes, we are worried about this. And we strongly believe in the success of his cooperation with coach Ismael Salas. But we also know that Joe always swings slowly, enters the fight for a long time, gradually gaining momentum.

“If there is a puncher in the opponents? Like Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder? the manager smiles. “I tell you, we think about it all the time too. How else? We cannot help but worry about this. But we have time to fix everything. The matter must be approached with a positive attitude. Joe returned to the ring after breaking his hand. And I liked his motor and holder. Do you know what was the most amazing thing about the fight with Hammer? Joe didn’t even have to shift into second gear, and his opponent, after two three minutes, looked like he had spent 15 rounds.

“No disrespect, but it was an intermediate fight against a dude who previously went the distance with Tyson Fury, Luis Ortiz, Frank Sanchez. So this is not a bum for you, although, of course, it’s not a top. Joyce returned to the ring after an injury, so the opponent is appropriate. For a comeback, it was a cool performance,” says the manager.

Immediately after the victory, Joyce remembered Usyk, Joshua and Fury. If you suddenly missed this bright fight, we suggest you enjoy watching the video of the knockout and the best moments of the fight.
