Undefeated as a pro, 2016 Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs) has said he will be the first to knock out former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (30-2, 21 KOs).
The two will fight on September 24 in England, although if it weren’t for various moments allegedly from the New Zealander, they would have seen each other much earlier.
“Now that the fight is finally ready, you need to give the fans and all the people what they want,” Joyce said at a press conference. – It’s going to be a great fight. And yes, I can’t wait to come out and ruin it. Just because of all this long wait and all this nonsense, when we could have done everything back in July. Damn, you just wasted my time.”
