Joyce explains why he wants Usyk to lose against Fury

“Interim” WBO heavyweight champion Briton Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) hopes that he will become the next opponent for the winner of the upcoming fight for the title of absolute division champion between his compatriot Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) ) and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), whatever the order of mandatory defenses among the sanctioning organizations.

In this regard, Joe hopes Fury will win, because he doubts Usyk’s disposition for their new meeting in the ring (recall that in 2013 the Ukrainian defeated Joyce in the WSB semi-professional league).

“I have an interim title, so I’m waiting for the WBO to oblige the (full) champion to fight me,” says the Briton. Usyk doesn’t want to fight me, so I hope Fury is a man of his word and fights me like he promised. He will beat Usyk and after that he will enter the ring with me. ”

Joyce previously revealed how he’s going to beat Usyk, while the top fighter of the past has meanwhile suggested that Fury could expect a rough awakening with Usyk.
