Joyce doesn’t want to see the Fury-Charr fight, but thinks it will come out great

According to Joe Joyce (and not only), boxing fans do not want Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) to defend the WBC heavyweight title against Mahmoud Charr (33-4, 19 KOs), but want to see champion against stronger opponents like himself, Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk. The “interim” WBO heavyweight champion said this
Secondsout.
Yesterday, Tyson “shaved off” Joshua, although he himself offered him a fight earlier. Now he is going to fight Charr on December 3rd. Few people understand what attracted Fury in the 19th number in the WBC rankings.

“It’s going to be a good fight as long as it lasts, but I don’t think that’s what people want to see. They want to see Fury in the best fights against Usyk, Joshua or me,” Joyce said. — There are many other fights, but I think he [Фьюри] just wants to stay active.”

Fury or Usyk? Joe Joyce made a choice

As for him personally, Joe said that “I had an express route to the top, and here I am.” Last weekend he defeated Joseph Parker by knockout in the 11th round.

“This is a really exciting division at the moment and I will collect more belts before I retire,” he assured.

Despite the fact that Tyson turned down Joshua, the latter’s promoter Eddie Hearn remains adamant and hopes that they will still be able to persuade Fury. Champion promoter Frank Warren is skeptical about this.
