Joyce accepted the challenge: “I can run over Wilder!”

Over the weekend, British heavyweight Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs) forced the capitulation of the usually tenacious German gatekeeper Christian Hammer (27-10, 17 KOs), after which he remembered Usyk, Joshua and Fury.

Joyce’s performance has traditionally been criticized by the fans (it skips everything that flies into the head), but experts most often pay tribute to the attacking pressure of the British. But not all. Compatriot Carl Frampton believes that with such boxing, Joyce should not enter the ring against knockouts like former world champion American Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs).

And Joe himself
took it as a challenge: “First I want to pay tribute to Wilder. This is an amazing fighter, a chic finisher. But don’t forget that styles make fights. Just remember the style in which Deontay was thrown off the throne by Tyson Fury in their second face-to-face confrontation. Agree that I can do the same with him. After all, it was just a performance in the style of “Truck”. I can move it too. This fight is like a scale when both have something to offer the opponent.”

Meanwhile, the promoter of the Briton explained why Joyce would beat Usyk in the professionals. He also talked about a potential Wilder vs. Joe fight. He says that he is only “for”.
