Joshua began to fade immediately after the victory over Klitschko – a promoter from Odessa

A native of Odessa, promoter Dmitry Salita (Salita Promotions) believes that the former two-time unified heavyweight champion Briton Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) reached the peak of his form in April 2017, when he retired the former leader of the age division Vladimir Klitschko from Ukraine in a bright battle.

Salita believesthat since then, Joshua “gradually began to fade with each subsequent fight. The fight with Klitschko is the pinnacle of his career. He doesn’t look the same in a long time. He was supposed to fight Jarrell Miller, but fought instead and lost to Andy Ruiz. Then it became obvious that he was in decline. And even after that, in the rematch, as well as in the fight against Kubrat Pulev, Joshua was not impressed. A good level, but nothing more.”

Salita is now trying to return to the clip all the same doping recidivist Miller. He even stated that “he and Joshua have unfinished business and Jarrell still needs to fight 1-2 fights to prepare for the snap with Anthony. From what I hear, Joshua will be back in the ring in December. Considering that he and Miller clearly have a grudge, this would be a monstrous fight. Especially if Anthony loses to Oleksandr Usyk again.”

On August 20, in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Joshua and Usyk will determine the owner of the WBA Wuper, IBF and WBO belts. In September last year in London (England), the Ukrainian won by decision of the judges.

Yesterday, the ex-heavyweight champion said: I bet on Usyk, but Joshua has a good chance of getting revenge. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian plays unusual tennis, preparing for the second fight with Joshua: video.
