Josh Parisian – Alan Bodo. Forecast and announcement for the fight

UFC on ESPN 38 tournament bout

The fight will take place on June 26 in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) at the UFC Apex and will be part of the main card of the UFC on ESPN 38 (or UFC Vegas 57) tournament. Estimated start of the battle – 06:30 Kyiv time. The fight will be broadcast live on Setanta Sports.

There will be one fight in the heavyweight division of the tournament, in which Josh Parisyan (14-5) will face Alan Bodo (8-3, 1 NC) in the octagon.

Parisyan has nothing to brag about in the UFC yet. He lost two of his three fights in the octagon. In his debut, he was beaten on points by Parker Porter, then Parisian narrowly won a decision against the unremarkable Roque Martinez, and in December last year, Josh was stopped in the third round by Don’Tail Maze’s elbows.

Bodo has similar UFC performance stats. He failed his debut in the promotion, being quickly knocked out by Tom Aspinall, then the Frenchman won by knockout from Rodrigo Nascimento, but due to the fact that the winner of the fight failed doping tests, the fight was declared invalid. In February of this year, Bodo fought Parker Porter and lost to him by unanimous decision.

Prediction for the fight

Two heavyweight strikers are fighting. Parisyan can only still be dangerous on the ground, but Bodo is a more hitting fighter with seven knockout victories out of eight.

In general, these are fighters of approximately the same level, the scales here can tilt in any direction. Each of the fighters can easily knock out, and at the same time, each of them has lost by knockout more than once. Therefore, the likelihood of an early end to the fight here is very high. As for the forecast for the fight, we will give preference to the more striking Bodo.

Bodo wins by knockout in the 2nd round
