UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal has spoken out about his plans after pulling out of his fight against Leon Edwards due to an injury.
“I don’t want to reveal the injury that pulled me out of the fight against Leon because I don’t want to give my opponents information about myself, what and where I have an injury,” Masvidal told The MMA Hour. – If Leon is ready to wait until February-March, then I will behead him in front of the whole world, if not, then what can I do? If he has a chance to fight for the title now, in two months I won’t be able to hold him.
Who would I fight now – Leon or Colby? With Leon because I signed up for it. I signed the paper like a man, I gave my word. And I would like to fulfill my obligations. I’d kick Leon’s ass and then I’d love to break the face of a fragile guy, that cowardly Colby. The main coward in the entire roster, among all fighters, among all sports in the world. The king of panties. Did you see him after the fight? Usman kicked his ass so hard that he has already become a nice guy ***. What a turn of events, huh? Laughter and nothing more. Fucking coward.”
Masvidal last fought in April of this year, losing by knockout to Kamar Usman at UFC 261.
