Former UFC welterweight contender says he could end his professional career if he is defeated by Gilbert Burns.
“This could be my last fight,” Sportskeeda quoted the American as saying. “If I lose, I will most likely announce my resignation, but if I win against Gilbert, it will mean that I am moving in the right direction. So I’m ready to put it all on the line and roll the dice.”
Masvidal has previously said that if he wins, he plans to challenge reigning UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards and deprive Colby Covington of a title shot.
Recall that the fight between Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns will be the second most important event of the UFC 287 tournament, which will be held April 8 in Miami.
