Jon Jones speaks out against Khabib Nurmagomedov

Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, named the top five UFC fighters of all time, including mentioning Khabib Nurmagomedov, who once removed him from the first line of the P4P UFC rankings.

“I would name myself, Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Jose Aldo,” the American said in an interview with RMC Sport. “These are my favorite fighters. We had disagreements with Khabib in the past, I spoke out against him a couple of times, but there was no real enmity between us.

“I like the way he behaves, how he represents his faith, his country, and I respect him as a businessman. He is an honest and straightforward guy, a real man, and I pay tribute to his life principles.

On March 4 at UFC 285 in Las Vegas, Jon Jones will resume his career after a three-year hiatus and will try to win the vacant UFC heavyweight championship belt in a confrontation with Frenchman Cyril Gan.
