Jon Jones’ Next Rival Named Officially

Reigning UFC heavyweight title holder Jon Jones will defend his belt on November 11 at UFC 295 in New York against third-ranked former division champion Stipe Miocic.

UFC President Dana White has officially announced the numbered event and its main event.

In March of this year, 35-year-old Jon Jones resumed his career after a three-year hiatus and won the vacant UFC heavyweight championship belt, finishing in just over two minutes by guillotine choke of Cyril Gan.

Stipe Miocic, 40, last entered the octagon in March 2021, when he lost a second-round knockout to Francis Ngannou and lost the UFC championship belt. Prior to that, Miocic had three fights with Daniel Cormier, winning the principal title trilogy.
