Joe Rogan called Sergey Pavlovich the most interesting UFC heavyweight

With the departure of Francis Ngannou from the UFC, Sergey Pavlovich is the organization’s most interesting and intimidating heavyweight, Joe Rogan, a longtime commentator on the strongest league in the world, is sure.

“The one I’m most interested in right now in the heavyweight division is Pavlovich,” Rogan said in a recent episode of his podcast. “Sergey Pavlovich, this is the new Russian Fedor, or rather, the Russian Francis Ngannou. He comes out and takes people out with his guns, just like Francis did.”

“He has real bombs in his hands, and at the same time he is fast and very good. His fight with Tai Tuivasa was incredible. Think about the fact that Cyril Gan made a real war with Tuivasa, and Sergey just ran over him. He has damn tight boxing, real knockout power, and superb technique. This big dude is really scary.”

“Sergey Pavlovich is very interesting and I want to see as many of his fights as possible. With the departure of Francis Ngannou, he has become one of the most interesting heavyweights, if not the most interesting heavyweight in the UFC. I would love to see him fight a guy like Jon Jones.”

Sergei Pavlovich, 30, is on an impressive five stoppage streak in the UFC and is third in the organization’s heavyweight division. According to rumors, the next fight of the Russian will have a candidate status.
