“Hello everyone!!! I want to say to all of you that I am grateful for your support,” the Czech fighter said in a video posted on social media. “The defeat only motivates me, nothing more. My goal was the right one. Maybe two or three more seconds and it could have ended differently, but, it happened what happened and I accepted it. Watch me. I’ll come back stronger than I’ve ever been. Thanks again to everyone for the support.”
Earlier, Prochazka, who lost to the Brazilian by technical knockout in the second round, said he had no complaints about referee Mark Goddard, who appeared to some to rush to a halt in the fight that headlined UFC 295 in New York.
“I think the stoppage was the right thing to do because I was out,” Prochazka said after the fight in an interview with Joe Rogan.
