Jiri Prochazka is ready to sort things out with Khamzat Chimaev

The story of the sparring between Khamzat Chimaev and Jiri Prochazka received an intriguing continuation after the former UFC light heavyweight champion saw an interview with a Chechen fighter, in which Borz not only denied his words about the result of this confrontation, but also expressed his readiness to fight with the Czech, if he manages to regain the title.

“He says he won the sparring. Which one did he win? I broke his rib there, he fell, left, and did not come to our gym again, ”Borz said two weeks ago in an interview with the channel captain hardcore. “It was at the beginning of my career, then I had a very bad stance. In the standing position, he interrupted me, I wrestled him, did painful submissions, beat him, one might say.

“He never won a sparring game with me, I can even swear. You can ask Alex (Gustafsson), he will never lie – we made a bag out of him. And now he’s talking about winning. Come on then, come back and we’ll spar.”

“If he has a belt, then he is interesting to me. He’s kind of dumb. What kind of Chinese movements is he doing? Where is he from anyway? I forgot my traditions, took the book and went into the jungle. Better learn your traditions, your laws. You have to be a worthy son of your people.”

Prochazka, in response, announced that he was ready to share the octagon with Chimaev, and also made it clear that he was going to sort things out with him in person.

“Just saw Chimaev’s comments,” the Czech fighter said in a posted video. “He’s such a jerk. I will gladly fight him and beat him. He is just a boy who talks too much and does not even understand the consequences of his words. I will talk to him the next time we meet.”

Earlier, Jiri Prochazka, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, announced that he plans to return to the octagon by the end of the summer, and Khamzat Chimaev announced the day before that he would have the next fight after Ramadan.
