On the night of May 20-21, Plant City (USA) will host a boxing evening, the main event of which will be the fight of the former world light heavyweight champion (up to 79.4 kg) 39-year-old Canadian Jean Pascal (35-6-1, 20 KOs) and the unbeaten representative of China, 34-year-old Fanlong Meng (17-0, 10 KOs).

Today the boxers have successfully passed the official weigh-in procedure.

Pascal clearly kept within the necessary framework with weight 79.4 kg. Maine was a little easier – 79.2 kg.

This will be Pascal’s first ring appearance since December 2019, when he defeated Badu Jack on points (SD 12) to successfully defend his WBA World title.

Meng, having won (UD 12) over Adam Dines in June 2019, became the official contender for the IBF title and was supposed to fight Artur Beterbiev, but the fight broke down several times and eventually lost its relevance.
