Jake Paul rips Tommy Fury for not signing contract to make all or nothing bet official: ‘They have gone silent’

It seems like everything is off when it comes to Jake Paul and Tommy Fury.

Paul made a bet with Fury that, if Fury beats him, Paul would pay twice his contract salary. On the flipside if Fury lost, Paul wouldn’t have to pay him anything.

John Fury accepted Tommy’s deal immediately with fighters shaking hands to confirm the wager. Paul, however, claims that the contract for the officialization of the bet has not been signed and returned to his lawyers.

” Alright, let’s get to the point. Tommy accepted it yesterday, and he shook mine hand.” Paul posted a clip to Instagram. His dad confirmed that they had agreed to the bet. So I signed the contract right in front of them.

“We send it over to their lawyers and just as I thought, they have gone silent as a mouse for the last 24 hours. They do not want to sign the contract and it just goes to show they have this false confidence. Don’t be afraid to put your money where it is needed. It was a grueling affair. Now you haven’t even signed the contract. Soft.”

Paul has become notorious for his pre-fight wager with opponents including a bet he made with Tyron Woodley that required the former UFC champion get a Jake Paul related tattoo if he lost. Woodley accepted the wager and received the tattoo.

Paul’s wager with Anderson Silva was not nearly as intrusive. He asked Anderson Silva to promote and build a fighter’s alliance as the 26-year old social influencer fights for greater rights for all athletes, particularly those who are competing in the UFC.

The bet with Fury was purely financial with the chance to either double his pay or earn nothing with a loss but it appears that won’t be happening after all.

Regardless, Paul and Fury will finally settle their bad blood on Sunday when the undefeated boxers face off in the main event of a card taking place in Saudi Arabia.
