Jake Paul made a statement after losing to Tommy Fury

Having suffered a defeat in the confrontation with Tommy Fury, the popular American blogger Jake Paul is ready to start preparing for an immediate revenge with the British.

“With all due respect to Tommy, he won – don’t judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses, but I will be back,” the YouTuber said in an interview after the fight. “I think we deserve a rematch. It was a great fight, very close. I’m not even sure I agree with the judges. I took two rounds with a score of 10-8, but that’s what it is. This is boxing. It is definitely a sobering experience. I’ll accept it, go back to the gym, and we can do it again, because today we put on an amazing show for the fans.”

“Honestly, in the fight I felt out of my element. I got sick twice during the training camp, injured my hand, so it was not my best performance, but I lost. I’m not trying to make excuses, I’m just saying that I did not perform well. I felt overwhelmed. But, as I said, we will return and take the victory!”

The eight-round bout, which headlined the boxing show in Riyadh, the Saudi Arabian capital, went the full distance and ended with the Briton winning a split decision with a score of 76-73 twice and 74-75, and in the sixth round the referee deducted a point from Fury for an incomprehensible violation, and in the final three-minute counted him a dubious knockdown.
