Jack Hermansson out of fight against Brendan Allen

UFC on ESPN 45, scheduled for June 3, has lost its main event.

The tenth UFC middleweight, Jack Hermansson, was injured and pulled out of the bout against Brendan Allen, who was scheduled to headline the event.

It is not yet known whether Allen will remain on the tournament card or leave it after an injured opponent. At the moment, the second most important event of the show is the women’s fight between former UFC champion Miesha Tate and Mayra Bueno Silva.

For the past four years, Jack Hermansson has consistently alternated victories with defeats, in the last fight losing by technical knockout in the second round to Roman Dolidze, and Brendan Allen extended his winning streak in the UFC to four matches in February, finishing with Andre Muniz by rear naked choke in the third round.
