The reigning UFC middleweight champion said this in another video published on his YouTube channel.
“He’s just a regular talker who talks as loud as he can, pretending he has something to say,” the Nigerian stated. “In reality, he has nothing to say. I know the guy, I’ve seen him, and I realize he’s doing all this just for show.”
“That’s why a lot of people are waiting for our press conference with such interest – it’s the only place where he can shine. But I can rap too – it’s just that I decide when to open my mouth and when not to. If he talks to me in a fight, I’ll break his jaw. Because when you talk, you’re not focused on the task at hand.”
As a reminder, the middleweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland will be the main event of UFC 293, which takes place on September 9 in Sydney.
