Is Joyce ready to fight Wilder? Juggernaut’s answer

British heavyweight Joe “Juggernaut” Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) is ready for the toughest challenge of his career – the battle with American puncher Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (43-2-1, 41 KOs).

Yesterday, the mentor of the former US champion spoke about Joyce: “He is much stronger than Joshua and will easily beat Ruiz.” The Briton responded by declaring his readiness to fight even now: “Oh! It would be a great fight. I would love to fight him in Las Vegas. Americans know me because I train in Vegas. I’m sure it would be a very interesting fight. I have no doubt that Wilder really has incredible power. And everyone is talking about my holder. So fans of “fantasy fights” are already talking about our potential fight with might and main. I’m glad that I’ve reached the level where there are so many opportunities and potentially great fights in front of me. I never doubted that I could reach this level.”

Joyce is the WBO interim title holder. So it is a potential rival for the unified heavyweight champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. As before, the Briton suspects that he will refuse the fight: “I have a cool position in the WBO. The interim title means that if Usyk refuses to fight, then I will be transferred to full-fledged champions. But I’m not going to sit around and wait for the organization to sanction this fight. If anyone wants to challenge me, just let me know. I’ll be ready”.

Joyce defeated ex-world champion New Zealander Joseph Parker in September, after which they started talking about him as a top force in the division. Some believe that the Juggernaut will beat Usyk, Fury, Joshua and Wilder. And here is Bashir’s opinion.
