Mirzakamol Nematov (9-1, 3 KOs) snatched a victory by decision from the former unified African world champion Julius Indongo (24-6, 13 KOs), who had long turned into a journeyman.
The fight went the whole distance, the judges unanimously gave the victory to the local favorite. Indongo and his team began to strongly resent the result, but in fact they were just playing for the camera – the favorite was better.
