WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) will be the favorite in a potential fight for the absolute against IBF, WBA and WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), according to Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn.
Usyk in 2021-2022 twice defeated his main boxer, Anthony Joshua, by decision of the judges.
Fury’s concern now is not Usyk, but the fight against Derek Chisora on December 3rd. If he beats his compatriot for the third time, as expected, he will probably face Usyk in early spring.
“There will be two very uncomfortable, cunning guys in the ring. I think it would be fun for an avid boxing fan, but they wouldn’t just knead each other,” Hearn told IntuBoxing.
Klimas: “No wonder Usyk called Fury a wino”
He believes that the much bigger Fury will win the fight due to his physical attributes.
“I will probably give Tyson the advantage because of his size. I considered him an underdog in fights with Klitschko and Wilder, so now it’s time to give him his due. But I think that Usyk will be very difficult to defeat, ”added Eddie.
This is doubted by one character from the USA, who says that Wilder will knock out Usyk.
In general, Usyk is not against the fight for the absolute with Chisora and returning to the heavyweights for titles.
