In Germany, not without an apse: results

Unihalle Wuppertal, Wuppertal, Germany. As part of the show, German native Aro Matevosyan (16-0, 9 KOs) defended the title of IBF intercontinental champion in light middleweight (up to 69.9 kg) in a confrontation with Mexican gatekeeper Johnny Navarrete (35-18-2, 15 K.O.).

The guest spent the entire fight with an aggressive first number. The fight turned out to be the most competitive. But not for local judges. They gave Matevosyan everything they could: twice 118-110 and 116-112.

Matevosyan UD 12.

The main event of the evening was frankly disappointing. German Vincenzo Gualtieri (20-0-1, 7 KOs) defended exactly the same title, but in the middleweight (up to 72.6 kg) in an unwatchable duel with the Italian
Vincenzo Bevilacquoi (31-4-1, 15 KOs).

It’s funny that the judges gave exactly the same score (twice 118-110 and 116-112) in favor of the favorite. No, we’re not implying anything.

There was no apset! Local middleweight (up to 72.6 kg) Marten Arsumanyan (12-2-2, 6 KOs) lost the title of European champion according to EBU to his compatriot
Bjorn Schicke (20-1-1, 10 KOs).

It was a revenge. In 2020, Arsumanyan won by refusing to continue the fight.

In the same fight, Chiquet relied on the aggressive work of the first number and firepower. He confidently recorded the starting rounds in his asset.

The champion woke up in the 3rd three-minute period – he realized that he needed serial work. Something worked, but in the 5th round, Shike knocked down his opponent. He struggled to his feet and even reached for the gong.

Arsumanyan was not going to capitulate, he famously spent the 6th three-minute period. He continued to be stormy after each missed blow, but due to movements and combinational work, he definitely took the second half of the battle.

Judges cards: three times 115-112 in favor of the underdog.

Shike UD 12. Trilogy coming up?

Universum Gym, Hamburg, Germany. As part of the average weight (up to 72.6 kg), the local ex-challenger Vincent Feigenbutz (35-3, 31 KOs) warmed up on the Argentine southpaw
Diego Ramirez (24-9-1, 6 KOs).

In the 4th round, the favorite dropped the guest with a blow to the body. This ended the fight.

Feigenbutz KO 4.

Local light heavyweight (up to 79.4 kg)
Rostam Ibrahim (10-0-2, 6 KOs) outboxed a certain
Chico Kwasi (5-2-1, 2 KOs) from the Netherlands.

Ibrahim UD 8.
