“I’m not a comedian.” Joshua doesn’t like where he ended up because of Usyk

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) said that the current position of the applicant does not suit him, and if it were his will, he would not have to occupy his head with thoughts of becoming a three-time world champion.

Recall that in September last year, Joshua lost the WBA / WBO / IBF titles to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) and will now try to regain them in a rematch scheduled for August 20.

“Someone said to me: “You have a chance to become a three-time world champion,” and I replied that this is not at all the place where you want to be. This is not the path I would advise young people to take. Because you want to own them (titles) all the time, be a champion and not part with them.

“I really want to return the titles,” the Briton does not hide. Too much talk for me. Less talk, more action. Just let me get in the ring and do my job. I’m not a comedian, and I’m not a speech writer. I’m hungry and desperate to get the titles back.”

“Joshua will do something special and beat Usyk.” Eddie Hearn answered questions from DAZN
