“I would give a draw.” Tszyu did not see Usyk’s victory in rematch

The ex-world champion in super lightweight under the flag of Australia, after the end of his professional career, returned to his native Russian harbor Konstantin Tszyu did not agree with the verdict of the judges following the rematch of Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Briton Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) for WBA/WBO/IBF heavyweight titles.

Recall that on the night of August 21 in Saudi Arabia, Usyk won a 12-round fight by a split decision with a score of 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.

“In general, it was a good fight,” said Tszyu. – The only thing is that the refereeing was as it should be. I understand that Joshua did not work the way he was supposed to work. But much better than in the first fight, that’s for sure. My opinion is that the fight was equal, not 116-112 at all – it was someone who was watching another fight. I would give a draw.”

“115-113 is almost 114-114. One of the rounds can be given to the other side, and it would have been a draw already, says Konstantin. – I tried to look objectively, closing my eyes to everything, and judging as usual. I was 114-114 in rounds. This is my subjective opinion.”
