WBC world title holder Briton Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) gave a great
interview for a news portal from Britain.
In a pre-Christmas conversation, Tyson spoke about the factors that motivated him to go to the top of the sport. Fury admitted that at the moment his goals have been achieved, and described the fighter who can defeat him in the ring.
Also, the British champion remembered the main, according to him, the goal of his professional career – the victory over the former heavyweight hegemon Ukrainian Vladimir Klitschko.
“What drove me? I wanted to be world champions, I wanted to beat Klitschko, I wanted to be champion again, I wanted to prove that I was not a dreamer. I wanted to do this, I wanted to do that, I wanted to be this champion, I wanted to be that champion, I wanted to make that money, I wanted to buy that car, I wanted to buy that house, I wanted to provide for the kids. Now I have no desire. I’ve been saying this for a long time.”

“All it takes to beat me is a young fresh man who is hungry and who doesn’t give a fuck. That’s what it takes. A fighter who fights for survival, like I fought. I didn’t fight for survival like someone I was from third world countries because I was never in that position But I fought for satisfaction I fought for approval I fought to be someone to be considered, to walk into a room to be respected because of that “That I’m the one who sacrificed my life to the sport. And secondly, as a person who went through every threat that he had. And thirdly, for coming back when he was on the verge of death. Here are three reasons why.”

My life’s achievement was accomplished. “I beat him. I didn’t want to win four or five belts at a time, because it was not important to me. The goal was always to beat Klitschko. I was obsessed with this idea. Obsession is a crazy thing. And I was obsessed with this high , a handsome, beefy scoundrel who could fight like thunder. I was obsessed with wanting to beat him. And no one gave me a chance. Having all the problems and suffering, I wanted to prove again that I had a real goal – to prove that everything is possible, that you can climb to the top, and it doesn’t matter where you are from, and from what bottoms.
