Artur Huseynov demanded 5 million for the fight with Alexander Emelianenko
Russian middleweight Artur Guseinov, who was previously advised by Alexander Emelianenko to end his career, named the desired fee for the fight with the famous heavyweight.
“Agree and resolve the issue with my league [EFC]. For this fight, 5 million rubles, and I will show how the lifeline saves, ”Guseinov wrote on Instagram.
On November 26, Emelianenko said that there was a “lifeline” on Huseynov’s stomach, adding that a middleweight in such physical form should not compete in mixed martial arts. In response, Huseynov challenged the heavyweight. Previously, the fighters were teammates.
On November 27, at the AMC Fight Nights 106 tournament in Syktyvkar, Emelianenko lost to Brazilian middleweight Marcio Santos by choke hold. Huseynov called Emelianenko’s speech shame and disgrace.
After the tournament, Emelianenko’s manager Azamat Bostanov, in an interview with SE, said that his fighter was not opposed to a duel with Huseynov.
