T Mobile Arena, Las–Vegas, USA. The vacant WBC US super middleweight title (up to 76.2 kg) was contested against local prospect Diego Pacheco (16-0, 13 KOs) and Puerto Rican
Enrique Collaso (16-3-1, 11 KOs).
The fight began with a slow and not very bright chess confrontation with jabs. Pacheco turned out to be a very cool counter-puncher – he lured his opponent out, countered great.
In the 4th round, he began to work harder and more aggressively. The knockout came in the 5th three-minute period – first, he dropped the opponent hard, then finished off the referee to the go-ahead.

Kevin Montiel (6-2-2, 3 KOs).

The judges were divided: 76-74, 74-76 and 75-75.
Draw SD 8.
Molina was a little closer to victory – he looked more confident, finished the fight in attacks, and the referee mistakenly counted him a knockdown.
